Dotze Temps Tablature Book PDF

Sheet Music

“I love this new recording from my friend Lluís Gómez!.
It’s has a wide variety of influences; everything from traditional music from North America, to new originals from Lluís and his band members, to music influenced by Flamenco Music, all played beautifully by Lluís and his band mates and guests.
There is so much great music on this project it’s hard to choose favourites. I especially like the duet Alma - a Flamenco original featuring just Banjo and palmas (hands). Another favourite is the progressive new acoustic Crunch Sister written my Maribel Rivero.
I’m going  to stop crossing favourites because it’s all great music. Congratulations Lluís!”

“Dotze Temps, the outstanding new recording from Barcelona’s banjo master Lluís Gómez, finds his five-string banjo totally at home in a variety of styles and genres, from traditional and contemporary bluegrass to music inspired by the flamenco and traditional sounds of his native Catalan region. This new musical fusion is guided by Lluís thorough understanding of contemporary bluegrass technique. However, it’s the musicality of these compositions and performances that captivates the listener and brings you back for repeated listening enjoyment. Lluís has opened the door to a whole new musical world for the banjo with Dotze Temps. It’s time for us to walk in, sit down and revel in this wonderful new musical experience.”
Bill Evans, Steve Martin Banjo Prize recipient and 2024 American Banjo Museum Hall of Fame inductee

“Lluís’s latest album is a joyous international collaboration of acoustic musicians, inspired by each other's traditions and united by his three-finger style 5-string banjo.”
Casey Driessen

Thanks for your interest in learning the music from my Dotze Contes album. All the tunes are for intermediate to advanced players, and some require some time to learn and practice until you’re confident enough to play, but remember, the learning process is a beautiful journey that can give you a lot of happiness!
The harmony part for T’ho Vaig Dir! it's not recorded on the album, but I had the idea when I wrote the tune.
In this book, you will find tablatures for the banjo, I tabbed out all the lead melodies, some solos and some roll ideas.
For the rest, try to pick by ear, it’s a great way to learn and really important part of learning an instrument.
Thanks again, and please contact me for any request or question.
Keep on picking!
